if you cancel more than 7 days after the booking date and at least 24 hours before you are to collect the car, a fee may apply.
If you cancel within 24 hours before the start of the tenancy, you will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable service fee. The service fee is 20% of the full rental cost.
If you cancel after the tenancy should have started, or if you do not show up, you will not receive a refund and lose the entire amount.
If you cancel the booking due to a change in itinerary of the ships route and you won’t come to Eidfjord you will recieve a full refund minus the service fee. The service fee is 20% of the full rental cost.
If there are problems at Eidfjord Autorent AS which means that the customer cannot rent the car that he has booked, such as the car not being available anymore. the entire amount will be refunded to the customer without a service fee.
No refund will be given if you cannot arrive due to unforeseen circumstances such as if the ship is unable to dock or due to unforseen illness as this is usually covered by travel insurance.
